From Clint Today: (May 13) Dearest friends, I have decided to push this camping gala to the fall, at least for myself, after school is back in session, and perhaps when the leaves are at their most colorful, because of the ridiculousness of these damn airline prices and fees. I have chosen a lifestyle that is without income, and I must sometimes reign in my outcome despite my desires. I spent $55 at the thrift store recently, acquiring 12 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and a pair of shorts. This for me was luxurious. So a $400+ airline ticket is out of the question. I will be refunding the few donations that came in because of Drew’s post above, and I thank those who did so. We have to choose our battles, and this money issue is one that I just can’t win and also practice what I preach. Thanks so much guys, and me and Daniel will plan for the fall and be more organized, and perhaps other places closer to home. Not sure if Daniel will still continue with this event in June, but I will find out. I encourage anyone who can to meet up without me if for no other reason to be around like-minded people and build that True Love and friendship. Be well, and look for the free download of volume I of “Strawman” soon, the fruit of my willing sacrifices.
